This event is a meaningful collaboration with Buck Lake Outdoors and Tomahawk Strategic Solutions, offering a unique opportunity to host a select group of Gold Star Wives for a three day experience focused on fishing, firearms training, and rest and relaxation.

Designed to give back in honor of their families’ sacrifice, this event provides a peaceful setting to unwind, connect, and recharge alongside a supportive group and experienced hosts.

More than just an event, this is a time to step away, be surrounded by community, and create lasting memories in a place of appreciation and respect.

Absolutely no cost other than your travel.

• Sleeping Arrangements: Lodging provided with beds

• Showers: Yes

• Bathrooms: Indoor facilities available

• Meals & Drinks: Provided (feel free to bring extra snacks if you like)

• Applications Open: ~90 days before the event

• Selection/Notified Day: ~60 days before the event

Attendance Commitment:

If selected and you confirm attendance, you are expected to attend. We understand life happens — if something prevents you from joining us, please notify Hero Hunt immediately. Once tags / licenses and travel arrangements are confirmed there will be zero excuses.
