Frequently Asked Questions 

You are either a:

1. Honorably discharged veteran of the United States military with a VA disability rating of 10% or higher

And/Or

2. First Responder who was injured in the line of duty.

Go to our Upcoming Events tab on our website, and select the event you are interested in and fill out the application.

A Hero Hunt Board member will reach out you via phone call on the selection date that is listed in that particular event details page.

**Note: If you are not contacted on the day listed as "Selection/Notified Day", you have NOT been selected. Please do not contact us asking.

The Hero Hunt Board of Director reviews all applications and will randomly select each participant on the selection date that is listed in that particular event details page.

ZERO cost to you other than your travel to and from the event.

Short answer - Yes.

Long answer - If you were previously selected and attended an event within the same calendar year, and you are selected again, you now become the first alternative for that event in case of a dropout.

Yes.

Yes. Each event application is specific to that individual event. Applications are not shared across different events, as requirements and qualifications may vary.
