Pablo Cadena
Pablo is a retired First Sergeant (1SG) with over 21 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Army. His multifaceted career spans from Multi-Discipline Counter Intelligence to serving as an Infantry Team Leader, Infantry Platoon Sergeant, and eventually as a Signal First Sergeant. Tragically, in 2008, while deployed in Afghanistan, Pablo suffered severe injuries in his role as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant.
Upon his retirement in 2017, Pablo resettled in Tennessee. However, he soon began to show signs of depression and a noticeable lack of drive. Recognizing these troubling signs, his wife undertook her own mission: to find a solution. In her search, she discovered Hero Hunt, an organization that provides therapeutic hunting experiences to veterans.
Not realizing the profound impact it would have, Pablo's wife signed him up for a hunt. This single event turned out to be a transformative experience for Pablo. On the hunt, he found the camaraderie he had been missing since leaving the military. The simple act of hunting breathed new life into his post-retirement world, helping him find his purpose once more.
Today, Pablo's mission extends beyond his own journey. He is committed to helping others rediscover their sense of self through the empowering experiences offered by Hero Hunt.

In memory of Lisa Baldwin
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Lisa, a cherished member of our Hero Hunt Inc. community, who left us recently after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Lisa dedicated many years of her life as a passionate board member for Hero Hunt, ardently supporting U.S veterans from our organization's inception. Her belief in paying it forward profoundly touched many lives, radiating through her unwavering dedication and commitment.
Lisa served as the Office Administrator for Dynamark Graphics Co., a reputable manufacturer and distributor of marketing materials, for a span of thirteen years. Her professional acumen and personal charm greatly impacted everyone who had the privilege of working with her.
A woman of diverse passions, Lisa's love for life was contagious. She was a loyal supporter of UT football and had a soft spot for dogs, cherishing their companionship. Amidst her various pursuits, she found solace in the calm waters of the mid-state lakes, where she enjoyed bass fishing during her leisure time.
Yet, perhaps the most beloved role Lisa ever assumed was that of 'Rah Rah' to her grandnephew, Eli. The joyous bond they shared was extraordinary, marked by their treasured Saturday night rendezvous that were always filled with fun and laughter.
Lisa's memory lives on through those she loved, those she inspired, and those she selflessly served. While we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we also celebrate the meaningful life she led and the indelible impact she made within our community and beyond. Lisa will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
