Our Leadership Team

Joe Towers is the founder of Hero Hunt, Inc., a retired Lieutenant with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Joe spent 27 years in law enforcement, with 25 of those years serving MNPD. His career included assignments in patrol, bicycle patrol, narcotics, and SWAT, as well as leadership roles as a Detective Sergeant and Detective Lieutenant overseeing investigations.

Before his law enforcement career, Joe served in the United States Coast Guard on active duty from 1989-1993 and continued his service in the reserves until 2002.

A lifelong outdoorsman, Joe has successfully merged his passion for the outdoors and conservation with his mission to serve his brothers and sisters in uniform. Joe, his wife Kim, and their son Joe Towers VI founded Hero Hunt, Inc. to provide life-changing outdoor experiences for those who have sacrificed so much for our communities and country.

Following in the footsteps of our founder, Joseph Towers VI has been immersed in the outdoors since the age of three. His time in the woods and on the water has fueled a deep passion for hunting, shooting, and conservation.

At just 14 years old, Joseph is already an accomplished deer and turkey hunter, demonstrating skill and dedication beyond his years. His love for God, family, and country drives everything he does, and he has a strong heart for service.
